In the universe, there exist unknown substances and energies that surpass our understanding, and these are subjects of discussion in the fields of physics and space science. Moreover, what we can perceive is extremely limited. Even if these unknown elements were present in our proximity, recognizing them would be a challenging task.

 

From this perspective, the possibility of something imperceptible existing in our everyday lives is by no means a mysterious concept. In such circumstances, when we encounter something with a unique atmosphere, it might be attributed to the influence of the unseen.

 

If one were able to create a work of art centered around these invisible entities, it could serve as a means to depict a deeper reality. However, representing the invisible is not a straightforward endeavor. This is because these entities are invisible to everyone, offering endless interpretations, and often lacking concrete evidence.

 

Therefore, starting with a concrete approach and establishing a motif is essential. The aim would be to combine tangible elements, such as the appearance of a subject or environment, with the intangible and ambiguous elements of the unseen, making it more accessible to capture the essence of the imperceptible.

この観点から、私たちの日常には見えない何かが存在する可能性があることは、決して不思議な話ではありません。このような状況下で、私たちが遭遇した何かが特別な雰囲気を持っている場合、それは見えない存在が影響している可能性が考えられます。

 

もし、このような見えない存在をテーマにした作品を制作できるならば、それはより深い現実を表現する手段となるかもしれません。ただし、見えないものを表現することは容易ではありません。なぜなら、それは誰にも見えないため、解釈が無限に広がり、根拠に乏しい表現になりがちだからです。

 

このため、具象的なアプローチから出発し、モチーフを設定することで、佇む姿や環境など、具体的な要素と、見えない曖昧な要素を組み合わせた表現になることを目指すことで、見えない何かを捉えやすくする可能性があると考えています。
